On the afternoon of July 11, Gu Yu, Chair of the Bethune Medical Foundation of Canada and a specially invited overseas representative of the 13th Jiangsu Provincial CPPCC, led a delegation to visit NJIT. University President Zhang Yangfei warmly welcomed the guests, expressing appreciation for the foundation's support in advancing the university’s internationalization efforts. Zhang emphasized the importance of this visit as an opportunity to deepen cooperation, particularly in engineering, to enhance our capacity for training application-oriented, globally-minded talents.

During the discussions, Gu Yu highlighted his commitment to using his international background and connections to help the university establish partnerships with Canadian institutions, thereby broadening our international network and strengthening high-quality development.

Representatives from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges attended the meeting.
